Orders, Shipping, Returns, and Refunds

This page has a lot of information regarding my work process, fulfillment timelines, and many of the other questions you might have regarding this shop. Placing Orders

Please double-check before you place your order to make sure vital information like your order quantities, shipping address, contact e-mail, etc are 100% correct!

Processing Times

I am merely one human, and while I’m doing my best, I can’t possibly be as fast as Amazon. Depending on order volume, it may take me a few business days to assemble, pack, and ship your order. Since many of my goods are handmade, and sometimes fragile, I like to take my time to be extra certain that your order is packed correctly, and in such a way that it will arrive safely (hopefully).

I typically send packages out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but not on US holidays. If I expect to be unavailable for an extended period (illness, vacation, etc), I will generally put up a shop announcement and contact anyone with open orders to let them know.

Custom Orders

Where specified, certain products may be customized to suit your wishes. While my ability to customize your order in these cases may be broad, they are not all-encompassing. There will be certain designs that I either cannot fulfill to your exact specifications, or cases where I must apply a surcharge to pay for the time it would take me. I’ll let you know in advance if either of these apply to your proposal.

If you place a custom order with me, you will be expected to maintain contact with me via e-mail to answer any questions I might have regarding your specifications, and to provide your approval during certain production steps. Failure to reply within 30 days may result in me cancelling and refunding the order.

Certain types of custom products will require you to provide complete and accurate information in a certain format, such as a visual reference sheet. I cannot accept an order if you can’t or won’t provide this information in the format I require. While this may seem strict, I do this so that we can both be confident in a positive outcome.

I may refuse or cancel/refund a custom order if factors such as language barrier or conflicting specifications prevent me from fulfilling your order accurately.

Shipping Times

USPS First Class Mail is my shipping method of choice. If you order anything that comes in a box (like a figurine), you’ll get tracking for that package automatically. That said, the accuracy of that tracking is up to USPS. Sometimes they miss scans, sometimes they scan late, sometimes the package gets delayed, and sometimes it goes missing. I really wish it wouldn’t happen, but that’s the reality. For orders shipping within the US, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for your item to arrive. Possibly even more, during the holiday season.

Missing Items

If you’ve waited your 3-4 weeks and your item still hasn’t arrived, please contact me at (Javascript must be enabled to view this e-mail address) and I’ll do my best to get you a replacement (where possible) or a refund in a timely fashion.

However, there’s not much I can do if a package marked “delivered” goes missing from your mailbox, so please do your best to thwart your local porch pirates, or try to be available to retrieve your package at the estimated time of delivery. If you contact me in this case, I may be open to discussing a one-time discount if you’d like to re-order the same item(s).

Items Damaged in Shipping

If your item arrives damaged, please contact me at (Javascript must be enabled to view this e-mail address) with a photo of the damage, and we can discuss getting you a refund or replacement (where possible).

International Orders

For reasons related to the tangled nightmare that is international tax obligations, I do not take orders from outside the USA here.

If you are outside of these two countries, you can purchase items through my Etsy Shop. Be aware that my Etsy shop might have different items and prices compared to here. If you’re an international buyer and you’d like to place an order for a custom item, please message me on Etsy and I’ll work with you there.

Returns and Refunds

If I make a mistake on your order, such as sending you the wrong item(s), contact me at (Javascript must be enabled to view this e-mail address) with a photo of your issue. From there, I can either refund you, or send you the correct replacement(s) free of charge. Your choice.

I accept returns on regular items if you contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping, and I must receive the item(s) in unused, undamaged condition before you’ll receive your refund.

I do NOT accept returns or refunds on custom items EXCEPT if I’ve made a mistake on your order that was documented or reported before completion.
